I am quite pleased with the end result and with lots of care with  your filling and sewing you can get a pretty good shape to help with pattern fitting.  I have used my 1970's dolls for the sizing and the finished form is a good match.  The Pattern is now available at www.sashasecrets.co.uk Click on patterns, it is priced at £5/$8 (approx) and includes full instructions.  Also included are patterns for a Tailor's ham and Sleeve Roll to help with pressing those tiny sleeves and curves.
